When outside of school I continue to work on projects to sharpen my skills. I design, prototype and 3D print various projects with the ultimate goal of creating things that pass my first rule of good design. It should just work. I don’t always hit the mark, but I always learn something new.
Summer 2020
While attending this NASA professional development course I worked with a team of 12 students to create a rover concept for conducting missions on Mars. I provided a terrain analysis program to ensure the rover would not roll over. I also plotted the safest route of travel to meet mission objectives and I designed the wafer PCB for the integration of all onboard systems and CPUs.
